Globendar for Slack
Stop doing time-zone arithmetic in your head.
Globendar answers “when can we all meet?” in the channel where you asked, using the time zones Slack already knows. No setup, no spreadsheets, nobody counting on their fingers.
What it looks like in Slack
Run /globendar meet
in a channel and Globendar reads everyone’s time zone, then ranks the
moments that land inside working hours for the most people:
🕒 Best times to meet
Wed 14 Jan 2026 · 4 time zones in this channel
14:00 UTC 4/4 San Francisco 06:00! · London 14:00 · Berlin 15:00 · Bengaluru 19:30!
15:30 UTC 3/4 San Francisco 07:30! · London 15:30 · Berlin 16:30 · Bengaluru 21:00!

Questions
- Does everyone have to set something up?
- No. Slack already stores each person’s time zone on their profile, and that is what Globendar reads. Install it once and /globendar meet works in any channel it has been invited to.
- What can it see?
- The members of a public channel where you run a command, and their display name and time zone. It does not read your messages, and it has no access to private channels or DMs.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Globendar is free, and the Slack app is free too.
- How do I remove it?
- Slack → Apps → Globendar → Configuration → Remove App. We delete your workspace’s stored token and settings as soon as Slack tells us it was uninstalled.
